201 is the standard grade of stainless steel suited to normal conditions where they are not constantly exposed to the weather, especially salty air. Be assured that these pegs will still be there when all the wooden and plastic ones are gone, but this 201 stainless steel won't last as long if exposed to harsh weather conditions for long periods.
If you would like a smaller, regular size peg, and need a peg that can take a bit more weathering, check our option, or the which will never ever rust.
